Bought it for my 11 year old granddaughter- she absolutely loves it.
Absolutely amazing - What an amazing magazine! From the feel of the pages, the illustrations and all the different sections, including many for our young tween girls to be involved, it’s just fantastic. I have manymemories of reading magazines with my friends and you just don’t see this these days, I’m sure that’s about to change now this is out. You’ve done an incredible job with this! Thank you.
This magazine is beautiful! It's so special to have access to a magazine for tween and teen girls made by local people who must really care about the growth and wellbeing of girls. Our daughter is really enjoying it and is about to get into more of her Athena magazine now it's her chilling out time. Thanks! Ps. Loved the little extras too ❤️
Absolutely loved the first issue, gorgeous colours, pictures, beautiful fonts, its so well designed - not overwhelming to look at (as some tween/teen magazines can feel!); my daughter spent the whole day reading it cover to cover and we enjoyed doing the quizzes together <3

My Granddaughter really has enjoyed the magazine.. and was really enthusiastic about it coming every 2 months for the rest of the year "Yes!! That'd be cool! watch this space, she said she would start a picture journal as suggested. Lets see if it happens!? Well done on producing a fun mag :)
My 9 year old girl said it was amazing. she liked the stuff that you fill in eg would you rather. she also liked the colouring. we're in point wells so would love to see it available a bit closer eg matakana or warkworth. thanks

I picked up a copy of Athena for my 10-year-old daughter from Threadbox while visiting Mangawhai. The perfect school holiday mag - she’s loving it! Lots of fun activities, good reads and beautiful illustrations. Looking forward to the next issue!
